The second specialized conference on “Challenges of HSE in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Hygiene, and Detergent Industries” was held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, on the occasion of Safety and Firefighting Week.
According to the Public Relations Department of Golrang Pharmaceutical Group, this professional event was jointly organized by Golrang Pharmaceutical Group and Padideh Shimi Paydar, both subsidiaries of the Golrang Industrial Group.
The conference brought together managers, experts, and professionals in the fields of health, safety, and environment (HSE) to discuss the latest challenges, approaches, and experiences in HSE management across the pharmaceutical and related industries.
Opening Remarks
The event began with a welcoming speech by Ms. Kimia Rafati, Human Resources Manager at Padideh Shimi Paydar, who congratulated attendees on Safety and Firefighting Week and emphasized the crucial role of human resources in promoting a culture of safety within organizations.

Expert Presentations
Following the opening remarks, Mr. Mostafa Adelizadeh, HSE Consultant at Golrang Pharmaceutical Investment Company, delivered a presentation titled “HSE Challenges in the International Pharmaceutical Industry.” He discussed global safety standards and practical strategies to enhance safety and efficiency in pharmaceutical production processes.

Next, Mr. Jalal Maleki, Spokesperson for the Tehran Fire Department, addressed the importance of expanding safety education and crisis management training, highlighting the lessons learned from recent national incidents and the need to strengthen preparedness to minimize human and material losses.

In another segment, Ms. Bahareh Goharin, Founder of Wiz Middle East Coaching School, presented a talk on “The Era of Incident Sustainability.” She elaborated on the role of coaching in rapid and effective decision-making during emergencies and the importance of developing resilience-based leadership skills.

Subsequently, Mr. Reza Gholamnia, Faculty Member at Shahid Beheshti University, discussed “Chemical Risk Assessment in the Pharmaceutical Industry.”
Finally, Professor Iraj Mohammadzam, Faculty Member at the University of Rehabilitation Sciences and Social Health, delivered a keynote speech on “Leadership in Safety.”

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Engineer Jalal Maleki was honored on behalf of the nation’s firefighters in recognition of their selfless service and dedication.
Additionally, top-performing HSE units from Golrang Pharmaceutical Group and Padideh Shimi Paydar were recognized for their exemplary implementation of safety and occupational health standards.
